3 Days Gorilla Trekking Experience in Uganda

These 3 days gorilla trekking in Uganda will take you to a magical journey into the jungles of East Africa where you should expect an experience of gorilla trekking. Being close to a family of mountain gorillas in the deep misty jungle of Uganda’s Bwindi impenetrable forest national park is utterly magical;  nothing can ever prepare you for  such an experience – their sheer beauty, brawn  and soulful brown eyes, the remaining gorillas in the whole world Uganda has 50%of these giants and that is found Bwindi forests national park Bwindi has four sectors where you trek these creatures that is Buhoma, Ruhija, Nkuringo and Rushaga sectors and also one family in Mgahinga national park which is shares with DR Congo, Rwanda and Uganda.

Day 1 Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

ON your first day of three days Uganda gorillas trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park in southwestern Uganda, you will pick by our company representative who will transfer you to south western part of Uganda. The drive from to Bwindi national park is between 8-9 hours. Although it may seem quite a long drive, it is worth it because you get to enjoy the countryside scenery with some of the most beautiful landscapes ranging from plantations, hills, all the way to the Virunga massive. Just keep your cameras near you so that you can take photos and your driver guide will stop and you get beautiful moment.

You will have En-route stopover at the Equator crossing at Kayabwe for photographs and simply experience before you continue to Mbarara city for lunch, after lunch you will proceed to Bwindi Forest national park dinner and overnight

Day 2 Gorilla Trekking In Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After your morning breakfast you will be transferred with your rain jacket, hiking boot, hiking clothes, face mask, hand gloves and your  packed lunch to park head offices for briefing as you be welcomed by local with dance and music, after briefing you will be allocate the group or family of gorillas you are going to trek then you enter the forest with armed rangers to start trekking gorillas in their habitants / forest  you will take 2 – 6 hours depending the movement of the gorillas on previous day after finding them you will be allowed to spend one hour with as you see have they feed , playing , their lifestyle , take photos for the memory after come back to office and be awarded a certificate of trekking these giants. It will depend on your fitness you may go to (optional) Batwa cultural experience after return back to lodge for your dinner and overnight

Day 3 Transfer Back to Entebbe for your Flight Back Home

After your breakfast you will check out of the lodge and transfer to Entebbe Airport for your flight back home depending on time of the flight, on your way to Entebbe you will pass through the terraced land scape of Kigezi region and you will be having your En-route lunch at either Mbarara or Equator depending the time.
