These 3 days gorilla trekking in uganda will take you to a magical journey into the jungles of East Africa where you should expect an experience of gorilla trekking. Being close to a family of mountain gorillas in the deep misty jungle of Uganda’s Bwindi impenetrable forest national park is utterly magical;  nothing can ever prepare you for  such an experience – their sheer beauty, brawn  and soulful brown eyes, the remaining gorillas in the whole world Uganda has 50%of these giants and that is found Bwindi forests national park Bwindi has four sectors where you trek these creatures that is Buhoma, Ruhija, Nkuringo and Rushaga sectors and also one family in Mgahinga national park which is shares with DR Congo, Rwanda and Uganda.

Day 1 Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

ON your first day of three days Uganda gorillas trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park in southwestern Uganda, you will pick by our company representative who will transfer you to south western part of uganda. The drive to Bwindi national park is between 8-9 hours. Although it may seem quite a long drive, it is worth it because you get to enjoy the countryside scenery with some of the most beautiful landscapes ranging from plantations, hills, all the way to the Virunga massive. Just keep your cameras near you so that you can take photos and your drive guide will stop and you get beautiful moment.

You will have En-route stopover at the Equator crossing at Kayabwe for photographs and simply experience before you continue to Mbarara city for lunch, after lunch you will proceed to Bwindi Forest national park dinner and overnight stay at Haven lodge Rushaga /broadbill lodge Ruhija full board.

Day2.  Gorilla Trekking In Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After your morning breakfast you will be transferred to the park head offices for briefing as you be welcomed by locals with dance and music, after briefing you will be allocate to the group or family of gorillas you are going to trek then you enter the forest with armed rangers to start your gorilla trekking in their habitants / forest  you will take 2 – 6 hours depending the movement of the gorillas on previous day after finding them you will be allowed to spend one hour with as you see they feed , playing , their lifestyle take photos for the memory after come back to office and be awarded a certificate of trekking these giants. You would have a place in your way back to have lunch because you have moved with your packed lunch, back to the lodge and check out then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for overnight stay Bunyonyi safari lodge / Eco lodge Bunyonyi /Rock lodge Bunyonyi, Half board.

Day 3 Boat Ride Ziplining  and Transfer to Airport for your Flight

After your breakfast, you will go to boat ride here you will be able visit the punishment island where the Bakiga tribe used to dump unmarried pregnant girls, as a punishment to die from there after getting pregnant before marriage but other men who cannot afford to pay dowry picked them from that island and married them for free of charge, then go for Zip-lining on lake Bunyonyi. After you will come back to the lodge to check out and transfer back to Kampala / Entebbe Airport or your place of stay, you will En-route late lunch at either Mbarara or Equator depending on the time.
