Visit primate world Kibale national park, Kibale forest national park is gazetted in the year of 1993 as a national park which consists of 13 primates with the major attraction the chimpanzees, the rare L’hoest monkeys, red colobus monkeys , black and white colobus monkeys bush babies that is why it called The Primate Capital of The World.

The primate world known as Kibale forest national park is found in western part of the country Uganda inn Kabalole , Kyenjojo and Kamwenge districts  and sits on 321 squire kilometers. However the kanyunchu chimpanzees have been monitored , sightings increasing the likelihood of sightings. Guided walks are available at 8:00AM and 2:00PM .

The consistently popular primate walks allows the visitor to observe chimpanzees in their habitat. Interaction time with chimpanzees is limited for only one hour with them face to face taking photos, learn their way of leaving , record video’s for memory 13yrs and above allowed to trek chimps and advance booking is essential.

The re also another activity around the park that is Bigodi primate walks where you will be able to see different primate species like the red colobus monkeys’ which is more sights in Bigodi swamp, red tailed monkeys, bird species such as Double toothed barbet, Dideric cuckoo, black bee eaters, white browed coucal, papyrus gonolek, among others.

There also community walks along the village of Bigodi where you will learn about coffee from garden to table, how to make local beer from bananas. how local people treat them selves from fever like malaria, flue and cough, among others to learn in the community walks with Mirama hills safaris indeed your welcome to the primate world in Africa Kibale forest national park.

When to visit Kibale national park? Kibale national park can visit at any time of the year but its more better to visit it in high/ pick season when the rain is little and the vegetation in dry season is not too thick for easy view of different primate species, tree species, flora and fauna, and even swamp area is more suitable during dry season.
