Day 1, Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and Transfer to Jinja
After early morning breakfast you shall start your trip to eastern Uganda for a visit at the source of the Nile, Mabira forest, and Ssezibwa falls, serene water fall that is cultural heritage site. You shall take a guided walk to explore the waterfalls and surrounding wildlife and learn about cultural, traditional associated with the water fall, you will spend one hour here and then after continue to Mabira forest. The biggest forest in central Uganda is home to wildlife including monkeys and birds.
After experience Mabira you shall continue to Jinja & have lunch by the Nile. After lunch you go for boat trip to visit the source of the river Nile stay at sunset hotel / Haven lodge FB
Day 2, Kayaking on the Nile or White-Water Rafting On the Nile and Transfer To Sipi
Today you should set out for adventure in Jinja you shall Kayaking adventure on the Nile to experience the beauty along the Nile as it meanders through the rush country side. The kayaking also takes you through the good relaxing on river giving you the chance to see lives of the village people in country side.
Optional; you can instead to go for white water rafting in the mighty Nile, the Nile have some of the best rapids for rafting that will give thrill of lifetime.
After the adventure in Jinja you will trans far to the east wards of the country to Sipi falls in the foothills of Mt. Elgon with En-route lunch either in Jinja or Mbale check in the lodge stay at optional lodge Sipi River lodge / Rafiki lodge /.
Day 3, Sipi Falls Hiking & Abseiling Adventure and Sipi Tea Experience
You will wake up in the morning to view the beautiful Sipi falls, after the breakfast you should start your Sipi hiking at about 8am. The Sipi falls are made up of series of three waterfalls along the foothills of mountain Elgon. You will hike each of the water falls starting with the top coming down to the last one which is the biggest falling 100m can take a swim in the cold whirlpool which is famously referred to as natural swimming pool. At the main biggest Sipi falls you shall do the epic abseiling& feel the adrenaline rush as you drop 100m & just few meters from the water falls.
You shall go back to lodge for lunch and relation in evening go for a coffee tour visit, the coffee plantation to see & learn how coffee is grown, harvests processed for consumption. This is grown as the lifestyle of coffee at the experience you make a cup of coffee from your own processed coffee
Dinner and overnight stay
Day 4, Transfer to Moroto via Pain Upe Wildlife Reserve
After breakfast by 6.30am, check out of the lodge and start your journey to Moroto. About one hour and half drive from Sipi falls you should Pain Upe wildlife reserve for you first safari experience. Pain Upe is the one of the untouched safaris in Uganda yet to be discovered. You will set off for game drive to catch wildlife & some animals to be seen includes Zebras, Buffaloes, many antelope’s species etc. if you are lucky, you will see the cheetahs
After the safari in Pain Upe wildlife reserve you will continue to Moroto where you arrive late evening at the lodge stay at kara tunga / Hotel Africana Moroto
Day 5, Morning Safari & after Karamojong’s Community Experience
Today you shall go for cultural experience in Nakapurumuru settlement for community activities like how they sleep, dance, treat themselves, hunting, food and much more. The Karamojong’s live a traditional lifestyle that has not been influenced modernity, you shall visit their houses learn about their traditions and get treated the Karamojong’s dance, after lunch in evening, you shall go to Kidepo valley national park for the following day activity. Dinner and overnight stay at Apoka bandas / savanna lodge kidepo
Day 6, Safari in Kidepo Valley National Park
Early morning breakfast set out for the full day safari in Kidepo valley national park, this will offer you features in interruption tears publications & the media being ranked as one of the national parks Africa, especially for having the best landscape. When you imagine safari in Africa in Kidepo is what you thinking about, a rugged landscape, dry savannah & lots of animals. You will visit the Narus River valley which is main animals watching area of the park because it has permanent water source & greater than other areas of the park. Some of the animals expected to see includes; Zebras, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Antelope’s species i.e. Impala, Uganda Kobs, Dik Diks, Klipspringers etc.,lions, Leopards herds of Elephants much more. You will go to the north of the park to visit the Kidepo which has less animals but amazing scenery & unique their features such as the dry River bed where you have a picnic lunch & kanangorok springs.
Day 7, Transfer from Kidepo to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After a hearty breakfast your journey begins with a transfer from hotel in Entebbe/ Kampala to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary a captivating journey through the heart of Uganda’s lush landscapes and wildlife rich regions. Upon reaching Ziwa Rhino sanctuary and a warm welcome, embark on an incredible rhino trekking experience accompanied by knowledgeable guides, you’ll track these magnificent creatures coming within a safe distance to observe their behavior up close you’ll also have a chance to partake in a rare bird watching opportunity through Ziwa wetlands binoculars in hand, on the trail of the elusive shoebill a prehistoric looking bird. After tracking you will have your lunch as you relax your body for another exhaling journey, after lunch you will continue with your journey to the world’s greatest waterfalls.
As the sun is setting, the evening will be crowned with an inspiring evening game drive, promising sightings of elephants, lions, giraffes and more as you arrive at the Murchison Fall National Park, check in your accommodation as you prepare for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8, Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Rise up with a sun to an African breakfast. Begin your morning with an exhilarating game drive, exploring the park’s diverse wildlife and searching for iconic African wildlife (The Big 5 animals) including elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, leopards, Kobs, zebras and birds such as hornbill, vultures and so many bird species.
After the game drive, drive back to the lodge for a delicious lunch, thereafter, embark on a leisurely boat cruise along the Nile River, while on boat you will be able to see schools of hippos, crocodiles and other wildlife come for water such as elephants, buffaloes, water bunks and a myriad of bird species and much more. As the day transits to night drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9, Game Drive and Hike to the Top of the fall
After morning breakfast, with your packed lunch you will go for another game drive which will take you to the top of the fall, hiking through Baker’s trail and also be able to stand at Baker’s stone bringing you closer to the bottom of the falls, this hike is a bit tuff but its fascinating as you will enjoy to see the fall at different points and finally when you reach at the top of the falls you will be amazed and eventually forget about the tuff hike.
After the hike to the top of the deepest and greatest Murchison Falls you will return to the lodge for dinner and have a restful night.
Day 10, Drive to Kibale National Park
After breakfast you will be ready to embark on your journey to Kibale National Park the Primate Capital of East Africa. The journey will take you through the country side it’s about 4-5hours’ drive to Fort portal with en-route lunch at Hoima city /fort portal city. Kibale forest park is the best safari destination in Africa with almost 13species of primates where chimpanzee is some most visited. Upon arriving at the pack check in your accommodation have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 11, Chimpanzee Trekking and Culture experience in Bigodi
After your morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for a short briefing before starting to track the chimpanzee, the experienced guide will lead you through the tropical forest for the unforgettable and reward experience in search for closest relatives of the chimpanzee, after an hour with them return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Later in the afternoon connect for a nature walk in Bigodi wetland then go for a swamp walk this walk-through the wetlands will bring you close to nature, which will also give you a chance to see some primates like black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, grey mangabey, red-tailed monkey, ghost monkey and many bird species such as blue turacos, hornbill among others, you will have a chance to meet the community and have a coffee experience, banana, brewing and conversations wine the medicine man, this activity allows you spend more time in the forest learning more about the life of the primates.
Day 12, Amabere Cave and Sempaya Hot Springs Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After your morning breakfast, you will be transferred to king’s palace, visiting the Karuzika palace gives you 360- degree panoramic views of the town. The circular structure was built in 1863, but fail into after the abolition of the royal kingdoms by Idi Amin, after you will visit the Amabere caves, also known as the “Amabere Ganyina Mwiru” which translates to “Breasts of Nyinamwiru” are caves named after an ancient folklore where a local king had his daughters’ breasts cut off to make her less attractive to men. The kings plan failed and his daughter got pregnant, he then hid her in the cave, a visit to this place you will learn more about its history. In the afternoon, you’ll embark on a journey to Semiliki to explore the captivating Sempaya Hot Springs. These remarkable natural wonders boast water so hot that can even boil an egg in just 15 minutes and cook matoke in a mere 25 minutes. As you venture into the unique landscape, you’ll encounter two distinct springs, each possessing its own character one referred to as the Female Spring and the other as the Male Spring, engage in absorbing stories about the magma beneath the earth’s surface while observing the steam rising from the bubbling hot springs.
After early morning breakfast you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth national park another scenic drive of the foot hills of Mountain Ruwenzori seeing Glaciations on a clear day, Banana plantation, tomatoes plantations, cotton, Tea plantations through Kasese town a very famous copper mining town in Uganda. On arriving, you will check in at your lodge, have your lunch after you go for a leisurely evening game drive here will be in a savannah park with a chance to spot leopard on your lucky day when they are planning to go where they sleep from, herds of buffaloes and abundance of bird life.
Day 13, Explore the Jewelry of Uganda Queen Elizabeth National Park
After your morning breakfast will go for game drive in Kasenyi plain or Mweya peninsula having a chance of seeing herds of buffaloes, elephants, bush backs, water bunks, warthogs, lions ,leopards, hyenas, some bird species like jacana, pelican, grey crown crane the Uganda’s national bird, savanna birds grey heron and much more return to lodge for lunch and in after noon go for boat ride on Kazinga channel which connect two lakes L. George and L. Edward, the channel is 40km and is the big construction of hippos in Uganda followed by Murchison falls which is mostly see at hippo pool, while on boat you will able to see schools of hippos, crocodiles, monitor lizards, some wildlife come for water on the shores of the channel such as elephants, buffaloes, water bunks, Kobs and so many birds species like pied king fisher’s, African fish eagle, cormorants, African darter, pelicans, spoon bill, marabou stalk, cattle egrets and much more back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 14, Transfer to Bwindi Forest and Batwa Cultural Experience in Buhoma
After your breakfast you will transfer to Bwindi for Batwa experience after Return to lodge for refreshments and a few minutes of relaxation before you get into Batwa cultural experience here learn the way they dress, their food, their life style, a people indigenous to the Ituri forest of Congo. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.
DAY 15, Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
, After your early morning breakfast with your cameras, hiking boot, long trousers, long Sliver shirts, rain jackets and a pair of gloves, will be transferred to the park offices/ headquarters for briefing on what to expect during your Gorilla trekking / trekking activity. With your packed lunch, you will set into the impenetrable forest to look for the gentle giants which will take 2 to 5 hours depends on their movements when you find them, will be allowed to spend one hour with them studying their way of playing, feeding, nurturing young ones take photos as many as can for memory, here you will be 100% seeing them no disappointment here, after an hour with them back to the park head offices to be awarded the certificate of trekking these giants. you will take a boat ride along the deepest lake in Uganda and the second deepest in Africa of about 900m deep to some islands because this lake has many islands up to 29 islands, visit the punishments island where the Bakiga tribe used to put unmarried pregnant girl to die from there, but some men who fail or don’t want to pay dowry pick them and marry them for free of charge, after you will go for zip lining before you go for evening relaxation at lodge as you seeing sunset
Day 16, Boat Cruise on Lake Bunyonyi and Transfer to Kampala / Entebbe
After your morning breakfast you will visit the islands of Lake Bunyonyi, here you be able to see the punishment island where the Bakiga tribe tend to dump the unmarried pregnant girls to die from after their families fails to get dowry yet their families expect to get something from them but there is there men and boy who can afford they pick them and marry for free. After you will be transferred to Entebbe for your flights.
