Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival In Kigali Rwanda

Upon on your arrival at Kigali international Airport, you will meet our safari guide who will transfer you Kigali for city tour, visit the GENOSIDE MEMORIALCENTRE in Gisozi. This memorial stands in sacred ground where equator of million people lies buried. Later transfer to your selected accommodation unit for dinner & overnight

Day 2 Transfer to Nyungwe National Park

The safari   guide will pick you up after your breakfast at around 9:00am at your preferred hotel in Kigali & transfer you to Nyungwe national park, passing through splendid hills & cultivated country sides. Have a stopover in NYANZA to visit the former king palace & later to Nyungwe forest for relaxion and overnight

Day 3 Chimpanzee Trekking In Nyungwe Forest National Park

After your morning breakfast departure for a guided nature walk in Nyungwe forest in search for primates such as chimps, Lhotse monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, trekking of chimpanzees can take few hours to full day depending on their movement. Is not mention guarantee to see these crenatures as they we unpredictable & can move long distances in one day. Bird watchers also appreciate in the exception rich bird life return to lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 4 Drive to Kibuye

After breakfast, you will start your exploitation of lake Kivu. On your way to Kibuye, you will visit Genocide Memorial of Bisesero. After lunch, have some relaxion at the shores of lake Kivu.

 Day 5 Head to Volcanoes National Park

Have your breakfast, while enjoying speed boat trip to Gisenyi and be picked up in Gisenyi for lunch. After drive to Ruhengeri or Kiyini for overnight.

Day 6 Gorilla Trekking In Volcanoes National Park

This morning with hot breakfast, you will drive to volcanoes national park head quoters, where you our trekkers will be met & head up the slopes of the Virunga volcanoes after briefing from the park waden. Visit one of the 10 habituated groups assigned to you. Trekking Gorillas through the lush forest slopes of the Virunga’s is an absolutely squinted experience. You need to have a good level of fitness for the Gorilla trek. You can trek them from 1 – 6 hours through dense forest vegetation, slippery slopes & changing weather. If you are lucky, you can get them and spend only one hour then back for lunch and overnight

Day 7 Dian Fossey Grave Hike

Have breakfast, and pack some light food stuffs as your lunch to take hike up to grave of Dian Fossey & the remains of the old Karisoke research station. Over the course of the morning, you fallow in Diana Fossey foot-steps on our way to the grave, as well as grave belonging to many poached Gorillas including famous Digit. You will be guided around the area where old Karisoke Research station set up by a park guide. Although very little of the station remains, the setting was incredible& can be imagine the incredible life that Dian Fossey led in these isolated mountains. After the hike, you decide to visit the twin lake, Ritondo, and Butera. dinner and overnight

Stay at, day 6 lodge

Day 8 Cross To Uganda Side

After breakfast, drive to Rwanda Uganda board point & be transferred to lake Bunyonyi for relaxion after lunch you will continue to Bwindi in late evening overnight

Stay at: Chameleon hill lodge / Broadbill lodge / Gorilla nest lodge / Haven gorilla lodge / Bweza Gorilla lodge.

Day 9 Gorilla Trekking In Southern Bwindi Forest National Park

After your morning breakfast you will be transferred to park office in southern park of Bwindi for Gorilla briefing by UWA ranger / warden will then take into the forest at 8:00am, will lead you to forest to trek these gentle giants(mountain gorillas) the thill of spending time observing the gorillas as they interact with each other is a pleasing & un forgettable one, you are allowed with them only one hour witness the interaction of these close relatives of ours. You are advised to carry your packed lunch for the time spend trekking Gorillas would not be known to you but varies from 3 -8 hours.

Time Allowed As You May Go Late Afternoon Community Walk To See The Local People Way Of Life &Cultures, Back To Lodge For Dinner And Overnight

Day 10 Drive to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast check out of the lodge, you will transfer to Kibale forest national park that allows you a visit to the palace of toro {TORO KINGDOM PALACE} for culture &historical briefing depending on the time you leave Bwindi, we can have En-route lunch at fort portal city after you visit Amabeere Ganyina Mwiru or crater lakes around fort portal before you head to lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 11 Chimpanzee Trekking In Kibale Forest National Park

After morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the chimpanzee trekking information office at 8:00am for the briefing by the park warden and ranger guides, and after, you will be led into the rain forest in of chimpanzees. These primates are very mobile and viewing them is unpredictable but a forest walk is enriching activity and takes about 4 to 6 hours. This forest is home to a large number of chimpanzees and other primates includes; LHost monkeys, Grey checked manga bey, Red – tailed monkeys, red colobus monkeys, and many butterflies. You will get back at the park office for certificate of trekking and then back to the lodge in time of lunch and if you have energy in the evening go to Bigodi swamp walk to get more primates and bird watching with an optional opportunity to meet and interact with the local communities. Day 12 Departure to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth national park is hosting a large variety and volume of wild life. It boasts one of the highest bio-diverts rating of any game park in the world from open savannah to rain forest, dense swamps + beautiful crater lakes to the vastness of lake Edward almost 100 species of animals that include hippos, lions, buffaloes, leopards, sported hyenas, and the elusive giant forest hog, there are over 606 species of birds, found there including martial eagle, backdropped button quill, vergers, eagle owl and African skimmer to name but a few. Dinner and overnight .

Optional lodge: Pumba safari lodge / Bush lodge / Engiri safari lodge / Tembo safari lodge.

Day 13 Game Drive and Boat Cruise On The Kazinga Channel

After early morning breakfast, you will head for game drive along Kasenyi tracks for such of wildlife i.e. lions, Buffaloes, African elephants, warthogs, Bush bunk, Uganda kobs, mongooses, and if you’re lucky you will see leopards is often sported. Over 606 bird spe5ci6es have been recorded in this park and most noted along the kazinga channel.

Return for a full breakfast, relax and prepare for yet other exciting activity in afternoon. After lunch you transfer to enjoy a unique 2 hours boat cruise on the kazinga channel. This boat cruise gives you a great opportunity for photography animals and birdwatching at close range. The meal plan dinner and overnight

 Day 14 Chimpanzee Trekking and Drive to Kisoro

After your morning breakfast check out of the lodge, you will be transfer to chimpanzee trekking at Kalinzu forest , expect you to see various primate i.e., chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, and other animals like elephants,  water bucks much more and other middle verse land back for lunch then drive through Ishasha sector and head to Kisoro for dinner and overnight

Day 15 Return To Kigali

You will cross the Uganda – Rwanda board point after your breakfast to be transfer to Kigali international Airport for your flight back home
