These 4 days gorilla and golden monkey trekking in uganda will take you to a magical journey into the jungles of Uganda where you should expect an experience of gorilla trekking. Being close to a family of mountain gorillas in the deep misty jungle of Uganda’s Bwindi impenetrable forest national park is utterly magical;  nothing can ever prepare you for  such an experience – their sheer beauty, brawn  and soulful brown eyes, the remaining gorillas in the whole world Uganda has 50%of these giants and that is found Bwindi forests national park Bwindi has four sectors where you trek these creatures that is Buhoma, Ruhija, Nkuringo and Rushaga sectors and also one family in Mgahinga national park which is shares with DR Congo, Rwanda and Uganda

Day1. Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

ON your first day of four days uganda gorillas trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park in southwestern uganda, you will pick by our company representative who will transfer you to south western part of uganda. The drive from to Bwindi national park is between 8-9 hours. Although it may seem quite along drive, it is worth it because you get to enjoy the countryside scenery with some of the most beautiful landscapes ranging from plantations, hills, all the way to the Virunga massive. Just keep your cameras near you so that you can take photos and your drive guide will stop and you get beautiful moment.

You will have En-route stopover at the Equator crossing at Kayabwe for photographs and simply experience before you continue to Mbarara city for lunch, after lunch you will procced to Bwindi Forest national park dinner and overnight

Day2. Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

After your morning breakfast you will be transferred to park head offices for briefing as you be welcomed by local with dance and music, after briefing you will be allocate the group or family of gorillas you are going to trek then you enter the forest with armed rangers to start trekking gorillas in their habitants / forest  you will take 2 – 6 hours depending the movement of the gorillas on previous day after finding them you will be allowed to spend one hour with as you see they feed , playing , their lifestyle , take photos for the memory after come back to office and be awarded a certificate of trekking these giants. You would have place in your way back to have lunch because you have moved either your packed lunch.

After proceed to Mgahinga National Park in Kisoro and relax away to the incurability beautiful lake while enjoying the breathtaking scenery, check in the lodge, dinner and overnight stay at mount Gahinga safari lodge/ AMajambere community comp Traveler rest inn Kisoro.

Day 3 Golden Monkey Trekking In Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

After your breakfast, you will be transfer to Mgahinga national park head equators to explore the magnificent Virunga mountains. The Virunga mountains is a chain of up 8 volcanoes that straddle along the border of Uganda, Rwanda and D R Congo. Three of these volcanoes [Sabinyo, Muhavura &Gahinga] are shared in Uganda and make up Mgahinga gorilla national park. The Virunga’s are the second home of mountain gorillas after Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. The mountain is also home to the GOLDEN MONKEYS, a simply beautiful monkey.

You shall trek the volcano to see golden monkeys which live in the Bamboo Forest close to the base of the mountains. you spend one hour with them

You instead enjoy a full day on the one of the volcanoes i.e., mount. Sabinyo is the most popular for hiking because of its location in the middle of the chain offering you wonderful views of the Virunga, it is also located at the meeting point off three countries boarder Rwanda, Uganda & D R Congo giving you a rare chance to set into all the three countries

Day 4 Transfer Back To Entebbe Airport for Flight Back Home

After your late breakfast you check out of the lodge, your driver guide/ tour guide will transfer you via terraces landscapes of Kisoro and Kabale Kigezi region with a stopover for photographs for good memories of landscapes and a stopover at Mbarara for En-route lunch, then back to Kampala for your next destination.
