7 Days Uganda safari offers travelers an opportunity to take part in several activities in Uganda including chimpanzee trekking, gorilla trekking, wildlife viewing/boat cruise along the Kazinga channel, birding and visiting the Batwa pygmies. You will get an opportunity to visit Kibale forest national park, queen Elizabeth national park and Bwindi impenetrable national park, the journey begins with a stopover at Kibale national park for chimpanzee tracking, and other twelve primate species. There is no other place in Uganda that is best for viewing primates unless Kibale national park.by the end of this seven days safari, you would have explored many of the places that make Uganda a beautiful country to visit.
Main activities
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport and Transfer To Kibale
After your arrival at Entebbe international Airport, you will be picked by our company representatives or guide who will transfer you to Kibale national park via Mityana Mubende highway to fort portal with lunch En- route. You will enjoy the journey with the amazing view of lakes, rivers, forests large population, trading centers, and the ever-smiling peasants. on the arrival at fort portal city, you will have a tour to this small beautiful town. Dinner and overnight
Stay at; Kibale forest comp , primate lodge, papaya lodge(midrange) and chimpanzee guest / Kibale forest lodge (budget).
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk
after early morning breakfast, you will be taken to Kibale national park headquarters for briefing on chimpanzee tracking which will be led by the park ranger guides and is all about the rules of trekking and after the briefing you shall enter the forest with the guides to find the chimps quiet so different from the gorilla, chimps stay long on trees compared to gorillas. These groups are also vocal and dramatic, it’s possible to hear their cry mile away even before getting close to them. After spending an hour with them you will be led back to the park offices where you will find the company guide waiting for you. have lunch and later the driver guide will take you to the Bigodi wetland sanctuary for a nature walk and birding. the Bigodi swamp is one of the best sports of birding in Uganda expect to see small monkeys butterfly and much more back to lodge for overnight.

Day 3: Kibale National Park Queen Elizabeth National Park
After your early morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge, our guide will drive you for a two hours journey to queen Elizabeth national park for game drive at Kasenyi plain, Mweya peninsular where you will be lucky to see elephants, buffalo, lions, leopard, Uganda Kobs, water bunk, warthogs and some bird’s species. After your game drive have lunch and embark on your evening boat cruise at kazinga channel. The kazinga channel is one of Africa’s greatest birding sites, you can sport residence and migrant’s birds in large number, during the boat cruise you also sport most of water dwelling mammals such as lions, leopard, antelopes and primate drinking water on channel and crocodiles are always seen bathing /drinking along the shores of the channel. Day 4: Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park and Boat Cruise Along Kazinga Channel
After morning breakfast go for morning game drive where you will be able to see the lion, leopard, elephant, Uganda comb, water back and then return back to the lodge have lunch and some rest in the evening you will proceed to either evening game drive or Kyambula gorge viewing optional, the gorge is one of the most amazing natures wonder of Uganda it contains underground forest which hosts variety of primates including chimpanzee, baboons, monkeys, hippos’ birds. You will also sport rare birds, trees and plants. after evening game drive or Kyambula gorge you will go back to the lodge for overnight.

Day 5: Maramagambo Forest, Salt Mining Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After breakfast you will be taken to lake Katwe and see how salt is mined, you will have an interaction with the local people and find out the benefits of their ancestors from salt mining. After you will continue with your tour to Maramagambo forest for a nature walk, you will see the bat caves and the crocodile that feeds on them. You will also get a chance of seeing the red-tailed monkey, crater lakes nyamasingiri and kyasanduka. later proceed to Bwindi via I Ishasha sector for tree climbing lions.

Day 6: Mountain gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
After breakfast the driver guide will drive you to the park office where you will find the parker ranger who will be leading you to the forest, the briefing covers many topics but the most important one is how to behave when you are with the gorillas, what to carry with Trekking Gorillas. you will be given the gorilla family to track depending on your well fitness and age. This is because some of the gorilla groups are located deeper in the forest hence requiring more time of trekking. Porters are available to help you with extra luggage. when you find gorillas take as many photos as you can because you will be allowed to stay with them for only one hour. After one hour of observing the Gorilla, you will be taken back to the starting point where your guide will be waiting for you. And don’t forget to pick your report on completion of tracking. go back to your lodge for lunch and some rest. after your rest your driver guide will pick you and drive you to the Batwa community for cultural encounter with Batwa pygmies, expect Batwa cultural dance and others.

DAY 7 : Transfer from Bwindi Forest to Entebbe Airport for Your Flight
This is the last day of the safari and you will wake up at your own time preparing for your departure time the driver guide will follow another route with a stopover at Isanyu restaurant/ Igongo culture Centre in Mbarara for lunch and equator experience at Kayabwe for photographs, if town allows, we shall also have a stopover at the Buganda royal drum makers to learn how giant drums were crafted. we hope that you enjoyed your stay in Uganda. The driver will drop you at the airport Entebbe for departure.
