DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE AIRPORT AND TRANSFER TO KAMPALA
At Entebbe Airport you meet your safari guide who takes you to the hotel in Entebbe to relax and be ready to set off for the 11 days Uganda safari the next morning.
Overnight Green Valley Hotel, Ggaba.
DAY 2: TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
Start early from Kampala to transfer to Lake Mburo, the ‘Zebra magnet’. We stop over and take photo poses at the equator and continue driving past the town of Masaka. Shortly we reach Lake Mburo national park and drive out to the vast savanna dotted with acacia and shrubs, as we game drive in for view of Zebras, Topis, Warthogs, cape buffaloes and impalas. Check in at the lodge and have a relaxed evening.

DAY 3: TRANSFER BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK.
Early breakfast, which gets you ready for the exciting day of mountain gorilla trekking, the highlight of this 11 days Uganda safari. Arrive at the gorilla trekking starting point and set off for your big adventure to see the great giants of the misty mountains. You trek in a group with a specialized guide and get to spend one hour with the mountain gorillas. Besides the mountain gorillas this Impenetrable Forest is full of birds, butterfly and plant species plus forest hog; forest Elephants. After the trekking your guide picks you and start the journey to the lodge by the southern Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park. The way takes you from the forest Covered mountains, to cultivated hills, villages and on to the savanna of Ishasha part of Queen Elizabeth national park. Arrive at the lodge for a relaxed evening.

DAY 4: GORILLA TREKKING DAY- BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK AND TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK.
Early morning birding around paraa before getting on a boat ride at about 9:00am downriver to the Nile delta. This is commonly known to birders as the “Shoebill Boat Ride” as it intends to catch the exclusive and swamp species are common along the Nile and at the Delta, such as African Skimmers, Goliath Heron, common Squacco Heron and more, return for lunch. Later set out for the afternoon lunch Cruise upriver to the base of the spectacular Murchison Falls. This arguably is the biggest highlight of any Murchison falls tour, offering an array of water birds and game along the river banks. African skimmers, red throated bee eaters, African Fish Eagle and also shoebill could be sighted in floating hyacinth along the Nile. Hippos and Nile crocodiles are sighted throughout the ride, elephants, lions, Antelopes, warthogs and several other animals come to drink, cool off and eat fresh grass along the banks. When you get to the base of the Murchison Falls, You shall leave the launch and hike around the falls to the top. The 45 minutes hike offers the best and memorable views of the Nile crushing through the Gorge, the sight is simply amazing. When you get to the top your driver guide shall be there waiting for you. Then you drive off to Budongo Forest for your dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: MORNING & AFTERNOON GAME-DRIVES IN QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
In the early morning we will drive off in the adventurous vast savannah of the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth NP, known for its tree-climbing lions. Here we have chance to see Topis, buffaloes, elephants and hopefully find the lions high in the Fig tree branches. This is one of two areas in Africa where lions have the habit of regularly climbing trees to take a rest. After the morning game-drive we drive back to the lodge for lunch and a bit of rest before it is time to head out again for a second chance to search for lions during the afternoon game-drive.

DAY 6: TRANSFER FROM ISHASHA TO NORTHERN PART OF PARK AND BOAT-CRUISE IN QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK.
After breakfast we start the journey northwards on the adventurous road leading through the park to the northern part of Queen Elizabeth NP as we continue our 11 days Uganda safari. Along this road you can see elephants, monkeys and even big cats. After lunch at 3 pm you get ready for the Classic highlights on the 2hrs Boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel, a 36kms channel linking Lake George and Lake Edward. You have the chance of spotting land and water Adapted Hippos and the Nile crocodile gaping along the Banks! Savannah version of Pigs the Warthog- Pumba of the award winning Lion King are a hallmark sign in this Animal home! With your Binoculars along the peninsula you have a magnificent view of Birds, animals like the ever playing African Elephants in Waters as we sigh and reset Fatigue and stress, to point zero.

DAY 7: CHIMPANZEE TREKKING IN KALINZU FOREST AND RELAXED AFTERNOON WITH POSSIBLE VILLAGE WALK
After breakfast we head for the close by Kalinzu forest for chimps trekking. In this tropical rainforest a community of around 80 habituated chimps live as well as beautiful birds and other forest creatures. Enjoy a walk and hopefully have an exciting meeting with the chimpanzees. Get back to the lodge for lunch after the trekking and have a relaxed afternoon. You can either relax at the lodge enjoying the view or go for a village walk in the area letting you see village life and a nearby crater lake.

DAY 8: TRANSFER TO THE CRATER LAKES AREA BY KIBALE FOREST & WALK TO CRATER LAKE.
Leave the area of Queen Elizabeth national park with the crater lakes area as the target. Pass by local markets and drive further through the crater areas. Check in at the lodge and go for a walk taking you to see beautiful views of a crater lake and hopefully some interesting primates such as Black and white colobus, red tailed monkey plus colorful butterflies and various Bird species like the native Great blue Turaco.

DAY 9: TRANSFER TO LODGE BY MURCHISON FALLS NP
It’s a long day in the car today during our 15 days Uganda safari as we drive up towards Murchison Falls NP. We target to have lunch in Hoima and make the journey easier by a couple of fruits during the drive as well as with a punctuation of stopovers at scenery like tea plantations along the drive ways – typical African village setup in the far countryside offer us chances of stretching. The last part of the journey we drive through Murchison Falls NP so you can get a first taste of what Uganda’s biggest national park has to offer.

DAY 10: GAME-DRIVE AND BOAT-CRUISE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE FALLS, MURCHISON FALLS NP.
Take a morning game-drive to explore the broad savanna for sights of big cats hunting, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, plus more as the checklist of mammals in Murchison Falls national park reaches 76. We continue browsing the circuits to the Delta point for a cocktail of Birds and mammals. In the afternoon you go for the 2pm boat ride on the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls where you get to see the Hippos, the Nile Crocodiles, Elephant and a variety of beautiful bird species along the banks, after the boat your guide picks you to make the drive back to the lodge.

DAY 11: TRANSFER TO ZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY FOR A TREKING WITH RHINOS AND ENTEBBE AIRPORT.
After breakfast we leave the lodge to make the journey to Ziwa rhino sanctuary where they are working on reintroducing rhinos to Uganda. Go trekking the rhinos with a specialized guide to see these impressive animals close-up. We then continue the journey to Kampala as we finish our 11 days for Uganda safari.
