4 Days Explore the Powerful Water Fall in the World Murchison Falls

It is named for the dramatic Murchison falls, where the world’s longest river explodes violently through a narrow gorge cleft in the Rift valley escarpment plunge into a gorge / affronting pool 43m bellow. Murchison falls National Park Uganda hosts over 76 mammal species like elephants, lions, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Hippos, Uganda Kobs, Water bunks, Oribis, Jacksons Hartebeest and  many Antelope species and big number of Crocodiles and over 465 bird species exposing adzing variety of water birds includes the worlds accessible wild population of the rare shoebills stork along the Nile at the delta and many bird species i.e. kingfisher, fish eagle, Bee eater, Pelican, Scared ibis, Open billed stork, Black headed heron, etc.

Day by day itinerary for our 4 days Uganda safari:

DAY 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport

Be met by your safari guide at Entebbe international airport for the start of your 4 days Uganda safari to Murchison Falls National Park. This first day you are taken to the hotel in Kampala to relax after the flight and be ready for an early start tomorrow.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Be picked at the hotel after an early breakfast and start the journey out of Kampala or Entebbe. Our first stop is by Ziwa rhino sanctuary where rhinos are being seen in the wild since they reintroduced to Uganda and where kept at ziwa. Here you will head out on foot for a walking safari to get a look at the rhinos. We then continue through the savanna assorted with Acacia and Shrubs and transfer to the Giraffe Paradise; Murchison Falls national park. Have lunch along the way. We start by visiting the top of the falls – this is a magnificent classic highlight where you explore dash of water at close range through a narrow perspective. After exploring the water falls at the Mighty Nile, drive to the lodge and enjoy a relaxed evening.

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise in Murchison falls National Park

After your early morning break fast you will set to the park for a game drive,  as the sun rises over the savanna for a morning and exploring the park as we continue our 4 days Uganda safari. This game-drive gives us chances of seeing many wildlife such as giraffes, lions, elephants, buffaloes and more as the checklist of mammals in this park ranges to76 species and bird species such as ground Abyssinian Hornbill, weavers, Kori, Elemented Guinea foul, Bishops, Secretary bird among others. Back to lodge for lunch and in the afternoon after lunch you will go for boat-cruise on the Nile to the bottom of the falls. Here you will spot hippos, Nile crocodile, wildlife came on shores of the river for water like elephants buffaloes, warthogs, antelope species like water bucks, oribi among others to cool them selves and a variety of beautiful birds along the river banks like Bee eaters, African fish eagles, black headed weaver and much more, back to your accommodation for overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer Back to Entebbe For your Flight Back Home

After breakfast you set off towards Kampala, Have lunch along the way. Get back to Kampala / Entebbe in the late afternoon/evening after explore the most powerful water fall in the world and its in Uganda the pearl of Africa as we finish our 4 days Uganda Safari at Murchison Falls National Park.
